"Our mission is to raise the awareness level of children in the areas of child sexual abuse prevention and child abduction prevention, to teach children how to respond if they are touched inappropriately or if someone attempts to abduct them." No one likes to think about it but it can happen to anyone, expect the best but be prepared for the worst. According to the National Center for the Missing, Exploited Children (NCMEC) there will be approximately 58,000 non-family abductions this year. There will be over 200,000 family abductions this year. 1 out of 4 girls and 1 out of every 7 boys will be sexually abused before they reach adulthood. Experts estimate that 60 million adults today were sexually abused when they were children. Over 800,000 children will be reported missing this year alone. Our challenge was to find a way to educate children in these sensitive areas so as not to produce fear but to instill confidence. It was our goal to find a DVD that children would want to watch over and over to build positive safety habits. &/or We offer a 10-18 year old Stranger Safety Class/DVD Kid Escape!
